The WE070BG is a trendsetting casual for travels beyond the trail. New Balance "know-how" provides the comfort you're used to in a reduced waste design and water-based adhesives. Seventy-five percent of the uppers are "environmentally preferred materials." The lacing, tongue and other construction of the shoe include recycled polyester. Fewer solvents are used, rice husks are used in the outsole, and water-based adhesives are used throughout the design. The materials and design make this particular model extremely breathable, extremely lightweight, durable, and extremely "green", making my vote for 070 extremely thumbs up!
